The project will seek to individualise the clinical decision making process by using patient’s own genetic and environmental data in predictive models. It will provide a key tool to migrate from population-based prediction towards truly personalised medicine, which will emphasise the acquisition, integration, processing and application of patient-specific information.
The DISCIPULUS project will provide a sustainable approach to the integration of ever-increasing clinical and biological data. It will ensure that research and clinical data is used most effectively, and will ensure that the Digital Patient goal will be intuitive and usable.
